Why use a mortgage broker?

70% of all new residential home loans are written by a mortgage broker. There are literally hundreds of different loan products available currently. There are just as many different lenders and products under each brand it is important to have someone that will go to bat and match you with the right deal. Mortgage brokers will make it easier for you to sift through all the different options available that are constantly changing, giving you more time to do things that are important to you

How long does the process take?

Most applications take between 10-15 business days to complete from submission to approval. This timeline largely depends on how quickly you provide the information and documents we request from you at our initial meeting. We also rely on you to provide us with the most accurate information to ensure front foot any questions the lender might help. We have a dedicated back office support team whose mission is to progress your application

What is a pre-approval?

Pre-approval or AIP is confirmation from the lender that they are happy to advance finance that your broker has prepared and submitted, provided the lender’s conditions are met. There may be specific conditions but usually they are, valuation result, employment check and or mortgage insurance approval. Pre-approval usually lasts 90 days at which time we will be in touch to renew if you haven’t made a purchase yet.
